Time Ramblings

This particular rambling is one I would categorize under "TBT" for my fellow instagramers. This is something I often pondered over as I would Google Ben's traveling, nomadic current "time" vs my forever current US "time" on a frequent basis during his escapades around Europe for 6 weeks last year.  Enjoy my TBT, half-awake ramblings email I sent him about time... #goodluckfollowing 

Crazy to think it's almost 5:00 AM there while it's almost 11:00 PM here.  Which then gets me thinking: what is time? Who created time and when was it actually created with the universal "set" standard numbers we have today? I tried to think about our life without time and it seems incomprehensible; yet time doesn't actually matter or exist. Right? Did Jesus use the same "time" we have now? Are history accounts actually accurate with their "time?" No, because it doesn't actually exist or does it since we exist and creation exists?  I think the idea of "time" was created to give comprehensible order to flesh and track history and patterns as societies evolve just as the Bible did with Jesus' story to suggest no matter "when or what 'time' or how many 'years'  later or what 'era' of existence," the Word remains everlasting.  Which in turn provides us yet another proof of God and faith as He remains timeless and is eternity in a time centered and driven world.  

So did "time begin" with the universe as it began to exist? But when did the universe "begin" to exist? There has to be nonexistence before existence to categorize existence which seemingly suggests a possible time without God as He was the Creator of existence. Was there ever a "time" without God? Genesis 1 states "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."  So was there ever a "time" in which God didn't exist or has He always existed with no other existence until He created our existence? In the first case, that would suggest a "time" without God which would then bring me to ask who created God or how/when/where was God created which then brings me back to the question of existence and time - did existence begin with the beginning of God or the beginning of creation and when does "time" actually begin; whereas, in the latter case, there is timeless and eternal existence. The existence of God, always. The One and Only. Period. Ergo: Faith.
